Theology: Theology Essentials

​This department introduces the beliefs, history, and cultural traditions of the world’s major religions. The courses explore the foundations of faith systems such as Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Catholicism, Mormonism, and Taoism, helping students understand how each tradition shapes identity, community, and daily life. Students examine similarities and differences among religions, the development of various sects, and the role belief plays in society. The five courses below provide a broad, respectful overview of global religious practice, encouraging awareness, curiosity, and informed engagement with people of different backgrounds.
